Context

Wallan East (Part 1) is one of 10 precincts in the Beveridge–Wallan cluster — the northern edge of Melbourne's growth corridor in Victoria. The cluster collectively plans for tens of thousands of future dwellings, town centres, schools and employment land, sequenced over multiple horizons by the Victorian Planning Authority.
